My name’s Sal Casillas. I’m originally from Salinas, California and now happened to reside in San Francisco while I complete my MBA at Hult International Business School. I’m creating this blog to inform my audience of the poverty that goes on around the world. This could be anywhere from hunger to poor living conditions. Over the years, the people as the whole general public are becoming more aware of their surroundings and empathetic with individuals in need. Companies are starting to adopt more corporate social responsibility measures for safe operating business practices, but also helping the communities where they do business. Hundreds of non-profit organizations exist for a long list of social causes and some operate more efficiently than others. At the end of the day, I believe we need to aim for a better future and find ways to improve our current system of giving. This blog is dedicated to telling the stories of people around our community and the world who need someone to voice their situations to the world. I aim for my audience to make a personal connection to the person in need by telling the stories from first person perspectives. The world could be a better place if…?
